Fenrir, one of the children of Loki was bound by the gods after a prophecy of him and his siblings causing Ragnarök, the destruction of Asgard. He was bound with a magical chain made of occult elements forged by dwarves, which when broken by his siblings, hel and jormangangar would begin Ragnarök.
